We welcomed our new princess, Jadene, on Sunday Oct 4th at 9:29pm. She was 7lbs and 9oz, 22 inches long... though her check-up apt they were measuring her at 20 1/2 inches long... so not quite sure on that.
After being sent home earlier that day, being dilated only at 3, we came back later in tremendous pain (contractions) dilated at 9 with + 2 (meaning the baby was right there and was ready for me to push). I'm lucky I didn't push like I wanted to. They had to rush me into the delivery room because she was going to be born within the hr. I begged for some kind of drugs. The pain was the worse I ever felt (worse then the natural birth of Kailyn). They gave me only a little bit of drugs that lasted 10-15 mins, but I needed it. I was about to pass out from the pain. Only 3 pushes and she was out!
She started screaming and wiggling before she was completley out.

It's sad the pregnancy's done, but I'm glad to be able to hold her now. She's pretty precious (as so are the rest of my babies).

Hello Blankenheim's. Congrats on your latest addition. You were not kidding when you told me at Lowe's the other night that Jadene could come any day now. She is beautiful!!! Enjoy!
