Weekend

This is weekend my Uncle and Grandma flew into town (from California) to surprise my mom at her little reception shin-dig I threw. Boy, was my mother surprised.

Ron (my now step-father), Ron's Mother, Ron's sister. He has a very nice family.

It's funny the older ones seem to connect with the little one's. The compatibility becomes about the same. =0)

In the far back middle.. is Ron's brother in law, Rog.

Kailyn and Mason had fun. Mason got himself pretty wet splashing the water!

And.. me of course. By the looks of this pic... I think I need to lay off the sweets! Mama gettin' some back!

I tried to take a picture of Ron and my mom cutting their cake. I couldn't tell them to stop in their midst of cutting. I have Kailyn jumping in wanting her picture and trying to talk to someone else asking me something... (sigh)... sorry

Sweet, sweet, dear Grandma!
I wish I lived closer to her so I could see her more often. I have learned this past year how precious each moment is with a friend or loved one.
