Georgia Trip

Cars all packed, kids are all set, and Mama and Papa are a little tired having to get up at 3:30am. We had a long 2 days ahead of us of driving. Thanks to the in-laws we were able to take our 1st family vacation down to Reynolds Plantation in Georgia (where Mom and Dad Blankenheim would be too). Kids did soooooo good! Lucky for our portable DVD, which kept much entertainment for them.

The main driver of the LONG road trip.

Our 1st rest area stop for lunch. The kids were excited to run and stretch those leggy's.

Matt and I had to take turns of Little Man. He kept wanted to walk out into the parking lot. That little thing's a ball of energy.

Such a cutie!
Our over night stop was Nashville, TN. Umm... not a good part of Nashville. We did find a playground area for the kids to play for a bit before going back to the hotel.
Speaking of hotel I think the front desk man who was working had a twinkle in his eye for Matthew. Ha!

Papa helping Little Man.

Silly Papa... this is to big for me!

We decided to give Papa his Father's Day presents a day early. He was very surprised and didn't think he was getting anything. 1st gift was a shirt that said 'Daddy thinks he's in control' with both their foot prints on it. 2nd gift was a garden stone having the kids foot prints on there too with it stating 'we love papa.'

Can ya tell she loves playgrounds?

Everyone at the hotel. Miss Munckin still full of energy.

Back in the car heading to Georgia on Father's Day.

Peek-a-boo.

We've finally made it!

Here is the lovley place we stayed at.

Getting a little tour to check out the place.
