Kailyn

Last night around 7:30-8ish Kailyn told Matt and I that she wanted to pack her lunch for School. So, she grabbed her Barbie lunch bag and started to put her lunch together (all snacks). When she was finished she headed towards the Living Room to grab her jacket and hat. Papa helped her put on her jacket while she put on her hat. Matt looked at me and I told him to just play along she's been pretending alot today. Matt put on his jacket and took Munchkin outside to walk to school. Was the cutest thing Munckin holding Papa's hand in one and her lunch bag in the other while walking down the street. Matt said she was talking the whole time during the walk about how Mason would miss her and how much fun she would have at school. As I sat at home it dawned on me.... maybe she really is serious in thinking she's going to school. Not even 15 mins later I hear crying coming from outside. I peek out the door to see Papa carring Munchkin as she cried her heart out. Soon as she got inside I held her tightly. Poor thing had her heart set on going to school. I tried so hard not to cry myself because it just broke me heart to see her so upset. Matt and I told her we'd try again another day. So, to help cheer her up we played Candy Land for the rest of the night.
